The result: The party was split virtually down the middle, with a few who couldn't decide just teetering on the magical fence. I personally read about 8 pages of a the twilight series and put it down. Now, I like my magical, mystical reads so that was quite odd. Harry Potter just wins for me everytime. Maybe it's because I grew up with Harry and it helped me to stay interested, I don't know, but I won't turn my nose too far up at the Twilight series until I manage to sit throught the whold film without finding what is going on outside my window more interesting...
I love both, but Harry Potter definitley gets a little more respect in my book. I think it's because I grew up with it as well. It'll probably always be my favorite.
ReplyDeleteYou should give Twilight the book another chance though. It gets better a few chapters in when the actual action starts. :)

M y younger sister is a Twilight fan, so maybe, just maybe I canfind sometime amongst writing news stories and essays to give it a read. Thanks for the recommendation.
