Since being diagnosed with cervical cancer, Jade Goody has always stated that the purpose behind her media involvement in the final weeks of her life is:

To benefit her children after she is gone,
To raise awareness about cervical cancer,
And to urge the government to lower the minimum age for women to have smear tests from 25 to 20.

However, Jade has been advised by Max Clifford that "enough is enough". Mr Clifford has made it very clear to Jade that he will withdraw her from the public eye if he feels she is too ill to accept requests from the media.
